We support the successes of students at Poznań University of Technology
Students from the Put Rocketlab scientific club at Poznan University of Technology have achieved another spectacular success on the international stage. The HEXA 5 rocket they designed and built took first place at the prestigious FAR-OUT competition held in the Mojave Desert in California. We are delighted to support this outstanding achievement!
For the past two years, we have been supplying the student organisation with our professional lighting, which provides a comfortable environment for working and studying. This allows the young engineers to develop their passions and set new directions in the field of aeronautics in a properly adapted space.
The Put Rocketlab team was the only European representative at this year's FAR-OUT. The HEXA 5 rocket took off in the B flight category and reached an altitude of 34,551 feet (about 10.5 km), setting a FAR record for the highest altitude for a fully recovered hybrid rocket. The students also received an award for the most efficient hybrid rocket engine.
Congratulations to Put Rocketlab and we proudly cheer on their future successes!
