On the picturesque Šćit Peninsula, surrounded by the waters of Lake Rama, lies a unique place of spirituality and history – the Franciscan Monastery of Rama-Šćit. It is not only an important religious center but also a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina, dating back to the 13th century. The current monastery, built in the 15th century, has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times over the centuries, yet it retains its significance as a center of culture and spirituality.
As part of the renovation of the monastery space, including the gallery and ethnographic museum, modern LED lighting solutions were used, highlighting the unique character of this place without disrupting its sacred atmosphere.
Lighting luminaires used:
- Expo Adjust – architectural luminaires with adjustable beam angle, which perfectly highlight exhibition details and interior design elements.
- Baris 52 LED P GK – linear recessed LED luminaires, which provide uniform, energy-efficient lighting for exhibition spaces.
Thanks to the carefully selected lighting, it was possible to create a space that encourages contemplation, reflection and admiration of the cultural heritage of the Rama region. This project combines modernity with tradition, emphasising the beauty and significance of this unique place.
