Our lights illuminated a historic event on the runway at Poznań Airport
On 9 May, Poznań-Ławica Airport was transformed into a venue for a spectacular sporting competition. The PKO Bank Polski Night Longest Drive Poznań Airport was the first-ever night-time Longest Drive competition held on the airport’s runway, attracting competitors, fans and project partners.
Organising the event within the demanding operational environment of the airport required the use of reliable and professional technical solutions. For the project, we provided Magnum floodlights and TTL 112.000 lighting masts, ensuring effective and stable lighting of the event area and the safety of the event.
Magnum floodlights are compact LED solutions for professional applications, providing uniform and stable directional lighting. Thanks to their robust construction, damage resistance and adjustable light output, they are ideal wherever durability and mobility are key. The installation was complemented by TTL 112.000 lighting masts – modern, high-power solutions with an impressive light output, distinguished by their quick and simple installation.
PKO Bank Polski Night Longest Drive Poznań Airport was the first event of its kind organised on the airport runway. David Shinto emerged as the winner of the final competition, achieving a distance of 395 metres.
