We have modernised the street lighting in the municipality of Gierałtowice
Modern lighting, lower energy consumption and greater safety for residents – these are the results of the street lighting modernisation project we have carried out in the municipality of Gierałtowice. As part of the project, we replaced 1,116 existing lighting points and expanded the network with 672 new luminaires, creating a modern and energy-efficient road lighting system.
On the roads, we used Tiara 2 LED luminaires in the XS, S and M variants, whilst in public spaces we installed Skver S luminaires, which, thanks to their modular design, allow for a variety of lighting configurations tailored to the character of the surroundings. We have also equipped these solutions with a DALI interface and a programmable power reduction function.
The modernisation has reduced the power consumption of the installed lighting by 65 per cent – from 109.353 kW to 38.256 kW. This results in annual savings of approximately 284.4 MWh of electricity, a reduction in CO₂ emissions of nearly 170 tonnes, and operational cost savings of around 230,000 PLN.
This is yet another project confirming that our solutions effectively support local authorities in creating modern, safe and energy-efficient infrastructure.
