"Light at the highest level": meeting with architects and photojournalist Filip Springer in Gdansk
We know how important it is to talk about lighting, which has a huge impact on architecture and design. Therefore, on 21 May, we met in Gdańsk to discuss the role of lighting in creating emotions and the character of interiors with Filip Springer and many architects from all over the country.
Filip Springer is a respected photojournalist, author of the albums-reportages "Badly Born. Reportages on the architecture of communist Poland", "Zaczyn. On Zofia and Oskar Hansen" or "Wanna z kolumnadą. Reportages on Polish space', in which he follows the traces of native architecture.
The special guest of the "Light at the highest level" meeting, which was organised in Gdańsk on the 33rd floor of the Olivia Star, the highest building in the Tricity, talked about the value of light and shadow in the context of architecture and design. Topics related to ecology and its role in the design process of architectural objects were also part of the conversation.
It was an excellent introduction to the exchange of experiences among the invited guests, as well as a discussion about the needs in terms of lighting and the prospects of the industry. The dinner at ARCO by Paco Perez was full of inspiring conversations, for which we would like to thank all the participants. We are already looking forward to the next meetings in other Polish cities.
See you soon!
