PMMA (acrylic glass)

Acrylic glass, organic glass, colloquially Plexiglas, Plexiglas, Metaplex, jargon Plexa - a transparent plastic material, the main component of which is poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA, from poly(methyl methacrylate). Some types of acrylic glass also contain certain amounts of other polyacrylic polymers and copolymers.
