Toruń has become brighter and more energy efficient! The city has joined the ranks of Polish metropolises setting trends in the area of smart space thanks to a comprehensive modernisation of street lighting.
As part of cooperation between Energa Oświetlenie, the City Roads Management Authority and our experts from Lena Lighting, as many as 130 Toruń streets have gained new, modern lighting. Along the city's routes, we have installed more than 3,600 LED luminaires, including our flagship Tiara LED models with exceptional luminous efficiency of up to 184 lm/W and modular Skver LED lamps, which effectively solve the problem of light pollution.
Our solutions not only illuminate the streets beautifully, but also significantly reduce costs - the city will save as much as 55% of its operating costs compared to the previous luminaires!
The project was partly financed by the ‘Light up Poland’ programme, which allowed the city to make this ambitious investment. All the luminaires used are environmentally friendly, extremely durable and resistant to changing weather conditions.
Walking around Toruń has never been so pleasant and safe after dark!
