Architectural walk at the Greater Poland Children’s Health Centre in Poznań
The Greater Poland Children’s Health Centre will start its operation in the first half of the year. The facility is one of the most modern investments of this type in Poland and the largest one that has been built in Greater Poland in the last 30 years. A large group of architects and designers from the region responded to the invitation of SARP Poznań to participate in an architectural walk as part of the “Zbudowane” programme. As a patron of the Poznań branch of the Association of Polish Architects, we were a partner of this event.
The Greater Poland Children’s Health Centre is an exceptionally innovative facility. Its design impresses with modern technology, functionality, and the interiors are very child-friendly. Solutions such as the pneumatic tube system or the pharmacy dispensing robot, which automatically distributes the necessary drugs are particularly noteworthy. The perfectly designed, energy-saving lighting – which creates a specific atmosphere of the facility and individual rooms and is adjusted to their intended specificity and patients’ needs – is just as impressive.
Designers have made perfect use of light as an element of creating and influencing the atmosphere. We are really proud of this implementation and we are glad that our lighting will serve children. This is a very good example of a modern medical facility that focuses on the comfort of patients. We are delighted that Lena Lighting could be part of this project.
The walk was very popular among visitors. Due to the pandemic, however, there was a limit of people who could participate.
